///EXPO SUSTAINABLE LUXURY
Wouter Wigman is a Dutch Product Designer and Interior Architect living in The Netherlands. Wouter presents: Fruity Furniture.

1. What is your story behind your product? I love packaging, there is a lot of quality in it, the print for example, but also it’s free, you get it with the product you bought! With fruity furniture I wanted to tell a story, the appearance of the chair with print and damage is unique, and there are no costs for material.
2. What are your values of luxury? I don’t like luxury a lot, I would say that quality and honesty have more value.

3. Where do you find inspiration? Traveling is very inspirational. You experience
habits and traditions from other cultures, but also you can take only a little with you, so you need to be creative with luggage and space.
4. How and why do you engage in aspects of sustainability in your design? I don’t believe in waste, The world is getting smaller and smaller, so if we continue like this, we end in our own waste.

5. What does sustainability (luxury) mean for you as a designer? It makes design more meaningful.
6. What does sustainability (luxury) mean for you as a consumer? It should not be an option anymore, I guess it’s our responsibility to future generations.
7. What does sustainability (luxury) mean for you in general? Nowadays it’s often used as a marketing tool, to sell more things. I don’t like that.
8. What is your vision on the future concerning design and sustainability? I think that design will become more and more digital, but I guess people will always care for traditions and honesty and I’d love to make chairs for them.
the things I like to do : Making ordinary, extraordinary.
