YOI: and Streetlab present Sustainable Style Statement on Tuesday night april 21, 2009. Aim is to inspire and inform you about innovative sustainable trends in design and fashion. During a talk show speaker Shammy Jacob, director Sustainable Ventures, will tell us about Nike Considered Design. Young creative’s like JULIEN ARTS make their own ‘Sustainable Style Statement’ in the exposition.

During Sustainable Style Statement we are not talking about the problems we are facing producing clothes and products, we are presenting solutions. Ever thought about banana fibers, soja beans or plastic bottles in your outfit? Is there a life after your worn shoes? Curious for the meaning of ‘cradle to cradle’?
